Tenant Preparation

Pilot Migration
We migrate a small group first — typically IT staff — validate mail flow, calendar sync, and mobile device access before the full rollout.
Staged Cutover
Full migration runs in batches during off-hours. MX records cut over with a short TTL. Your users wake up with everything in the right place.
Post-Migration Support

How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?
For most SMBs (under 200 users), the active migration runs over a single weekend. Discovery, prep, and post-migration support typically span 3–6 weeks total depending on environment complexity.
Will my users lose any email during the migration?
No. We configure mail flow so messages are delivered to both the old and new system during the transition window. Nothing is lost.
Can you migrate our compliance archive too?
Yes. We work with Smarsh, Proofpoint Archive, Mimecast, and Barracuda to migrate your compliance journal alongside mailboxes. We can also set up Purview compliance policies in M365 to maintain continuity.
Do you handle Microsoft 365 licensing?
Yes. Iron Cove is a Microsoft licensing partner. We can provision the right license mix (Business Basic, Business Premium, E3, E5) and transfer your existing subscriptions.
What if we are already on Microsoft 365 but merging with another company?
Tenant-to-tenant migration is our most complex engagement and one we do regularly. We handle identity merge, mailbox migration, SharePoint, and Teams — with a clear rollback plan at every stage.
Do you support hybrid Exchange environments?
