Cancel within 7 days of purchase or renewal for a full refund — applies to both monthly and annual plans.
Monthly plans, after 7 days
Cancel anytime. No refund for the current month; no charge for the next billing cycle.
Annual plans, after 7 days
No full refund. A partial refund may apply depending on remaining term and license assignment.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew by default. Disable it anytime in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (business) or account.microsoft.com (personal).
Data access after cancellation
You retain read-only access to email, OneDrive, and SharePoint data for 30–90 days, after which Microsoft permanently deletes it.
