Microsoft has added a particularly interesting new feature to Word from Office 365. You can utilize the Word Mobile app, a free download on tablets 10 inches or smaller (in order to edit documents you need an Office 365 subscription). In this app, not only can you view documents but you now have the option to draw with their new set of pens that cater to professionals that like to draw on documents for editing and idea purposes.
Google has a new service called Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) currently in beta stages. Google's introduction into the Access Managment market is to directly compete with Microsoft's active directory alongside their cloud application service, GSuite, which has over 4 million users.
Revenues of public cloud services worldwide will reach $206.2 billion by the end of 2019, up 17.3% from $175.8 billion in 2018, according to Gatner's latest forecast. Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is the fastest growing segment in the public cloud service market and will reach $39.5 billion in 2019, up 27.6% from $31 billion in 2018.
