With the increase in ransomware attacks, Office 365 has added additional features to its email security system. The Microsoft suite has added URL filtering to their email system to help with possible ransomware attacks and is available as additional add-ons to the suite.

Google's GSuite has introduced new security updates! The update has just left beta and is readily available for all GSuite editions. This includes: restrictions from third-party apps, new authentication keys, enhanced email scanning and more! See here: [HelpNetSecurity]

Starting in January of 2020, Northeastern University will be migrating students email accounts from Google's GSuite to Microsoft's Office 365. In addition to this, they have also dropped the word "Husky" from their email addresses in favor of simply "@northeastern.edu". [HuntingtonNews]
