Iowa State University has adopted Okta as their new cybersecurity and access management provider. The school started off slow with the implementation back in fall of 2017, but by March 1st of this year, all students will have access to Okta for all their login needs.
In less than a year, updates and support for Windows 7 will be officially shutdown by Microsoft. The shutdown will be after January 14 of 2020. Businesses are encouraged to upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible for full security support. [ZDNet]
In order to keep up with demand, Google's G Suite has had a price increase for basic and business consumers. The price has gone up $1 and $2 a month respectively. While it may not seem like much, Google says this is to stay competitive with other cloud-based suites like Microsoft Office 365.
