Cloud Engineer for Microsoft 365. This cloud engineer will learn to install and configure Microsoft Office 365 and other cloud-based solutions for clients and provide continuous technical support. Confer with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized cloud-based solutions utilizing Microsoft Server technology, including Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) 2.0, Exchange 2010, Exchange Server 2013, DNS, and Windows PowerShell 2.0. Analyze clients’ existing hardware and software and configure them to ensure compatibility with new software. Oversee the migration of critical data, processes, and workflows to new systems. Design and implement network security measures and data backup and disaster recovery options. Test systems and software applications and troubleshoot any errors which arise.
Analyze systems and software application performance and implement updates to enhance their efficiency. Create software documentation and user guides and provide ongoing technical support to clients. Identify trends in software errors and devise long-term solutions. Consult trade articles and attend seminars and workshops to stay abreast of software technology and ensure optimal systems and application development.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related position. It requires skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), some knowledge of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) 2.0, Exchange 2010, Exchange Server 2013, DNS, and Windows PowerShell 2.0. is desireable.
