Annual: There will be no refunds if you use less than your original order. The only opportunity to lower costs is during the annual renewal. It's advisable to set a calendar reminder 60 days before renewal to consider reducing your order.

For example, if you buy 10 licenses, increase to 15, and then decrease back to 5, you are committed to those 15 licenses until the term is up. Then and only on the renewal date can an adjustment be decreased

Monthly: Some Microsoft Plans offer a monthly payment option. However, it's crucial to note the significance of your order window. When you place an order, it takes effect on that specific day; there's no automatic start on the 1st or last day of the month. Your order's activation time aligns with the moment you placed it. Changes to your subscription quantity can only be made during the 'change order window.' Any adjustments made outside of this window won't take effect until the start of the next billing cycle.
